The Standard

Every Based Adventures trip is earned. Before you’re accepted, you must meet at least one of these:

• Run a half marathon in 2 hours or less
• Run a 10K in under 55 minutes
• Carry a 45 lb pack 3 miles in 1 hour

Expedition and Capstone trips may add trip-specific skills prerequisites listed on each trip page. Failing to meet the standard is an integrity violation under our Code of Conduct.
